On 5th May 2009, you came into this world
Young, sweet and innocent
Taking your first peek at the world
Learning your first little step
I watched it all
I missed your everything
The warm welcome
The way you snuggle near me
Your joyous wagging
You, with your gentle way

Now that you are gone
